Help me pick a guitar...
I have an opportunity to get one and/or both of these fine guitars at a decent discount. I already own a Fender Stratocaster, a Fender Telecaster and two (2) Gibson SG's. I know I like both of these guitars but I want to see what you think. Please feel free to leave a comment. Thanks.

Those are two great guitars, and sound like they both fill a void in your arsenal. If I could only pick one, I would choose on the basis of which I needed more. The acoustic is important if you need the acoustic sound to round out your arsenal. If you don't need the acoustic guitar, then the 339 will certainly fill the gap in your current arsenal. I own the Hummingbird, and love it nearly as much as my family!! I don't own, but am a huge fan of the 339. Obviously, they are not interchangeable, so I would buy based on need. All that said, both would be the way to go! ;-)

Totally buy the Gibson ES-339!! Its a great electric guitar and besides although the Hummingbird is good it still remains an acoustic guitar and I find that you are very limited with acoustic guitars whereas electrics guitar allow you to do many more things.
